BANG BANG DON'T TAKE THE PISS
I'm really disappointed after my visit to bang bang. I brought my girlfriend to the cafe cos she's a real foodie and likes the cafe culture. All went well up until she ask the staff member to use the toilet - she was given quite a sharp and dismissive response and was told the there was No toilet for customers.. She felt a bit embarrassed after been spoken to in a flippant manner. She walked outside and decided to clarify this situation again. The staff member was clearly agitated and told her again there are no toilets for customers. Its a take out place she said .... It was strange cos there were plenty of us sitting inside and outside eating food.
Im not a legal eagle but i think this practice is illegal .... A trendy food joint with no toilets for customers .... Bizarre..maybe the clientele do not have to use toilets in D7......
Bottom line (excuse the pun) never again .... There are better places in D7 and beyond. Do not deprive me of my basic human right...

Maybe my expectations were too high as
a result of reading that it was one of the top 100 places eat in Ireland, but I thought it was very poor. A strange place that doesn't seem to know what it wants to be and my flat white was not a flat white! Sorry.

Absolute gem of a spot. Very friendly staff, all manner of sandwiches, bagels and baps that are all delicious, great vegan and vegetarian options as well. Coffee is always great here and they sell locally produced foodstuffs from pesto made just up the road to handmade Irish chocolate. Fantastic brunch/lunch spot, Phibsboro's best kept secret.

Awesome dare i say 'quirky' retro, intimate lil cafe, never been in one like it. They don't shy away in their Liberal political stances in their decor which I value a lot. Banging tunes. Nice coffee which i sipped on while browsing a Beano manual from the 80s.. Blast from the past.. Loved it. Yet to try the vegan options but will update this when I do. Sound bunch!

Love this little place. It's a coffee shop with a conscience. Community art, local campaigns... Really, really good food at reasonable prices. Staff are professional but great fun. Always good music playing and always a great welcome.

Great spot. Food, atmosphere and people make the place. Not overly comfortable but spot on for a quick coffee or bite.

Great coffee and friendly service in an unusual location. Pastries and sandwiches are good too. They sell a variety of local and interesting produce, including Lily's teas, which are top notch.
